ClimateTrade stands for the protection of the Amazon.
Plant trees to save the world’s lung!
The Amazon rainforest is the largest tropical forest region on the planet and is of vital importance for life on Earth, it provides 20% of the fresh water and is home to 10% of the world’s biodiversity. Its area spans 8 countries and is home to more than 350 indigenous communities.
Save the Amazon by offsetting your company’s carbon footprint
Saving the Amazon project was born with the objective of caring and conserving the Amazon, by planting trees of native species and conservation projects in the Amazon.
Thanks to your contribution, indigenous communities receive income from planting and caring for the trees that, in return, provide them with food, medicine and construction elements, strengthening their culture and beliefs around nature and the opportunity to create green businesses for the well-being of families and their food safety.
This project helps 920 families from 30 local communities in Colombia and Brazil, covering an area of 60,000 hectares.
Project monitoring on your mobile
Through the Saving The Amazon application, companies can monitor, manage and administer the planting of the trees, their growth and care, since the trees are photographed every six months to follow their growing process for a period of 3 years.
Help us save the Amazon! Contribute to the conservation of the Amazon and offset your company’s carbon footprint with ClimateTrade.
